to Soror Watkins, of Sam's Club !

We proudly celebrate Latriece Watkins, who has made history as the new President and CEO of Sam’s Club, a division of Walmart. Watkins began her journey at Walmart in 1997 as a real estate intern and steadily rose through the ranks, leading merchandising across key categories and later overseeing store operations. In 2023, she became Walmart’s Chief Merchant, managing over $500 billion in products and shaping the customer experience for millions.

Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to innovation and understanding customer needs. In addition to her professional achievements, Watkins is a proud member of the Northwest Arkansas Alumnae Chapter. Congratulations Soror Watkins!

We were treated to outstanding performances by two remarkable women who generously shared their talents during the Sneaker Brunch. Tash*ta Bibles captivated the audience with a powerful spoken word piece titled "Amazing." Fellow D-9 member Kimberly D Thomas shared a soul-stirring rendition of "Near the Cross." We extend our gratitude to these ladies for delivering unforgettable entertainment at our scholarship brunch.

The scholarship sneaker brunch was amazing! Honoring five pillars in the community and seeing former scholarship recipients who are successful in there chosen fields, some with multiple degrees is worth it all!
