University High School Class of 2026 Graduation Details

Location: Ferrell Center
Doors Open: 1:30 p.m.
Ceremony Start time: 2:30 p.m.

Doors to the Ferrell Center will open to families and guests exactly one hour prior to the ceremony start time. Seating within the arena is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We strongly encourage guests to arrive early to account for local traffic, parking delays, and mandatory security screening at the venue gates. Please see the map of the Baylor campus for your reference.

Please note that Baylor Athletics’ rules and guidelines for the Ferrell Center will be enforced. This includes a mandatory Clear Bag Policy, as well as specific restrictions on prohibited items such as balloons, signs, artificial noisemakers, and any glass containers. There will be a concession stand open for guests; however, no outside food or drinks are allowed. Graduates are not able to have any water, food, or gum on the floor of the arena.

Congratulations to Damari West on an incredible accomplishment at the 2026 UIL State Speech Contest! In his first-ever State appearance, Damari earned 4th place in the preliminary round, advancing to the Top 8 in Texas for Prose Oral Interpretation. We are extremely proud of his hard work, dedication, and outstanding performance on one of Texas’s biggest stages.

A huge congratulations to D’Yeon Martinez, Naomi Williams, and Rashel Villa, who proudly represented our program as State Honor Crew members at the UIL State Speech Contest! Their high recognition reflects the talent, dedication, and EXCELLENCE of our students, and marks another milestone in the continued growth of our speech program.

🚨 GRADUATION CEREMONY UPDATE - CLASS OF 2026 🚨
Class of 2026, we are moving indoors! Due to a high probability of rain in the forecast, Waco ISD has made the proactive decision to relocate this week’s graduation ceremonies from Waco ISD stadium to ensure our graduates get the celebration they deserve. We are making this move now so graduates and families have plenty of time to adjust plans.

📍 NEW VENUE: Baylor University Ferrell Center, 1900 S. University Parks Drive

Congratulations to Rogelio Enriquez who participated this past week in the 2026 UIL State Track meet held in Austin. Rogelio participated in the Boys Shot Put 5A finals and earned 9th place, in STATE! This is an example of a great student athlete that excels in multiple sports while focusing on academic performance as well. We are proud of U Ro, the sky is the limit!!
