New developments in the woodpecker saga…not only did it peck through our first fix, but it added 3 new holes 😡 For a temporary fix, we’ve added more duct tape and some shiny paper to flutter and scare it off. Eventually we’ll get the holes filled for winter…anybody have experience repelling woodpeckers??! This is the first time we’ve ever had trouble with them…there are NO bugs inside the LFL, and there are plenty of trees around that they can use instead! Arggg.

Saw this little woodpecker on the LFL a week or so ago and thought, “Well, I’m sure he wouldn’t damage it since it’s not real wood”…apparently it still felt the need to peck a hole all the way through the composite material 😡😑 Anybody know how to deter woodpeckers?? We’ll try to get things patched up soon so the rain and bugs stay out…
