Another awesome round of 3rd Grade School Enrichment is in the books! More than 60 students from Wadesboro Primary School spent the day hiking trails, dissecting owl pellets, learning about birds of prey, digging into soil science, and exploring aquatic habitats.
Students also took on a scavenger hunt, got creative with crafts, jumped into a predator/prey freeze tag game, and reviewed the solar system through hands-on activities and teamwork.
Programs like this are a great reminder that learning comes alive when students can explore, ask questions, and experience things firsthand. Anson County 4-H is thankful for the partnership with Anson Cooperative Extension, our volunteers, and the Wildlife Refuge for helping make these opportunities possible each spring.
We already can’t wait to do it all again with next year’s 2nd and 3rd graders!
