Today, Anson County EMS had the privilege of spending time at Camp Summer Breathe, where we met an amazing group of kids, shared what we do as EMS professionals, and gave them a hands-on look at our ambulance and equipment.

There’s nothing better than seeing the excitement and curiosity on a child’s face as they learn about emergency medical services. We enjoyed answering questions, demonstrating our equipment, and hopefully inspiring a few future first responders along the way.

A sincere thank you to the organizers of Camp Summer Breath for inviting us to be a part of such a wonderful program. We truly appreciate the opportunity to connect with our community and help educate the next generation about EMS.

Thank you to all of the campers for making us feel so welcome. We had a great time and look forward to seeing you again!

Today, the Anson County EMS family extends our deepest condolences to the members of Cleveland County EMS, the family and friends of Paramedic/Field Training Officer Ashley Moore, and everyone affected by this unimaginable loss.

The loss of a fellow paramedic in the line of duty is a heartbreaking reminder that every time we answer the call, there are risks that most people never see. Behind every uniform is a family, friends, coworkers, and a community that loves them.

Please keep Ashley’s loved ones, her EMS family, and all first responders who are grieving in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

From all of us at Anson County EMS, we stand with Cleveland County EMS. May Ashley’s service, dedication, and sacrifice never be forgotten.

Today, Anson County EMS had the opportunity to visit Camp Signal 100 at the Wadesboro Fire Department and spend time with an amazing group of kids.

We enjoyed talking with them about emergencies, what EMS does in the community, and how we respond when people need help. The kids also got a hands-on look at some of the lifesaving equipment we use every day and had the chance to explore one of our ambulances.

We would like to thank the Wadesboro Fire Department for inviting us to be a part of this great event and for allowing us the opportunity to help educate and inspire the next generation. We always enjoy working alongside our public safety partners and engaging with our community.

Thank you, Camp Signal 100, for having us—we had a great time!

This week, we proudly celebrate National EMS Week and recognize the dedicated men and women of Anson County EMS who answer the call every single day.

These are the faces behind the sirens.
The calm in the chaos.
The steady hands in someone’s worst moment.
The people who miss holidays, lose sleep, and still show up ready to serve this county with compassion, courage, and professionalism.

Behind every ambulance response is an EMT or Paramedic willing to step into the unknown to help a neighbor in need. Their commitment to the citizens of Anson County does not go unnoticed, and this week we say THANK YOU for the sacrifices you make and the care you provide.

To our crews — thank you for your long hours, your dedication, your teamwork, and the heart you bring to this profession. We are proud of each and every one of you.
