This week, we proudly celebrate National EMS Week and recognize the dedicated men and women of Anson County EMS who answer the call every single day.

These are the faces behind the sirens.
The calm in the chaos.
The steady hands in someone’s worst moment.
The people who miss holidays, lose sleep, and still show up ready to serve this county with compassion, courage, and professionalism.

Behind every ambulance response is an EMT or Paramedic willing to step into the unknown to help a neighbor in need. Their commitment to the citizens of Anson County does not go unnoticed, and this week we say THANK YOU for the sacrifices you make and the care you provide.

To our crews — thank you for your long hours, your dedication, your teamwork, and the heart you bring to this profession. We are proud of each and every one of you.

Anson County EMS had a great time today participating in Career Day at Lilesville Elementary School.

We are truly thankful for the opportunity to spend time with the students, show them our ambulance, and talk about what we do as first responders and how to respond in an emergency. Engaging with such curious and enthusiastic young minds is always a reminder of why we love what we do.

We were especially grateful for the thoughtful notes and cards we received from several students—it was very sweet and meant a lot to our crew.

We hope we were able to inspire a few future first responders today, and we appreciate Lilesville Elementary for inviting us to be part of this special event.

Today, Anson County EMS had the privilege of attending a wonderful community event hosted by the Anson Baptist Association, the Day of Hope.

We truly enjoyed the opportunity to come out, connect with members of our community, and spend time speaking with so many great people. Events like this allow us to build stronger relationships, share information, and simply be present with the citizens we are proud to serve every day.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Anson Baptist Association for the invitation and for putting together such a meaningful event. It was an honor to be a part of it, and we are grateful for the continued support from our community.

As always, Anson County EMS remains committed to serving, caring, and engaging with our community—both on and off the ambulance. 🚑💙

Your dedication, quick thinking, and commitment to serving our community never go unnoticed. We are proud to work alongside you and thankful for the partnership we share every single day.

From all of us at Anson EMS, thank you for everything you do for Anson County. 💛

🚨Today, Anson County EMS had the privilege of partnering with the Wadesboro Fire Department, Anson County Sheriff’s Office, and Med Center Air for the “Prom Promise” event. This powerful program is designed to show students the very real and life-changing consequences that can result from drinking and driving or operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside these agencies to help bring awareness to such an important issue. Our goal is to make a lasting impact and encourage safe decisions, especially during prom season. We hope this experience was meaningful and beneficial to all the students who attended.

At Anson County EMS, we take great pride in serving our community and doing everything we can to help keep our students and citizens safe.
