We would like to remind everyone that tomorrow night starting at 6:30, to bring the kids out and take some pictures with Santa also please encourage them to write santa a letter we will have a drop off box just for that! And don’t forget if you purchased a ticket you’ll enjoy some fresh cooked pancakes and sausage, but if you didnt purchase a ticket plates will also be available for purchase at the fire station! The City of Wadley is excited to announce the launch of Text My Gov services as another convenient way for residents, employees, and visitors to communicate with the city. You can sign up to receive notifications whenever the city needs to get a message out. Notifications such as road work, water or wastewater information, public safety emergencies, recreation, and road closures.

COMING SOON!
This smart texting solution works with regular SMS texting, so no app or download is needed. Text My Gov uses a mobile phone's regular messaging service as a simple way for the city to interact with the public and for citizens to relay information to Wadley’s staff.

Citizens can obtain information on zoning and building permits and easily report a code violation. Easily report public works issues like potholes, road damage, sign down, drainage problems, and more. The City of Wadley will be able to engage citizens, start a workflow, and ask specific guided questions regarding location, address, street name, and additional information to include a photo you may share.
