The Wadsworth City School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the media center at Wadsworth Middle School (150 Silvercreek Road). The purpose of the meeting is as follows:
To consider approval of the May 11, 2026 Board of Education meeting minutes;
To consider approval of employment recommendations;
To consider ratification of resignations;
To discuss the implementation of items included in our fiscal precaution plan (starts on page 28/180) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year; and
Any other business that may come before the Board.
Upon request to the Superintendent, the District shall make reasonable accommodations for a person with a disability to be able to participate in this activity.
The meeting agenda and supporting documents will be posted to the Board of Education’s webpage no later than 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The meeting will be recorded for viewing on WCTV.

To honor the memory of Wadsworth Middle School teacher Gretchen Pappas, the high school carpentry program built a custom flower box for the MS courtyard. Soon, this box will house vibrant butterfly bushes to serve as a lasting symbol of the growth and joy she brought to our schools.
