I am going into this new year with a full heart and so much gratitude for everyone who supported SAJ Notary in 2025. Every appointment, every referral, every kind word meant more to me than I can even put into words. Being trusted with such important moments and documents is something I never take lightly, and I’m beyond thankful for each and every client.

I am so excited for what’s ahead! 2026 is all about growth, new opportunities, and expanded services, including loan signings and more ways to better serve our community. Ever wondered what the difference is between an Acknowledgment and a Jurat? 🤔

Here’s a quick breakdown:

✅ Acknowledgment
This is used when someone signs a document willingly and wants their identity verified, but they don’t have to sign in front of the notary. It’s often used for deeds, powers of attorney, or real estate documents.

✍️ Jurat
This is for documents where the signer must swear or affirm that the contents are true and must sign in the notary’s presence. This is commonly used for affidavits or legal testimonies, and vehicle title transfers.

✨ Both serve different legal purposes, and it’s the signer’s responsibility to know which one they need. But I’m always here to help guide you if you’re unsure!
