We would like to give a huge thank you to Zoll medical for coming by the EMS station and showing us the new autopulse. Its a mechanical CPR device that does CPR which in turn allows us to do other lifesaving measures. They also brought us lunch as well.

WCEM Announces Upcoming EMT Course! 🚑

The Wagoner County Emergency Management EMT Course will be held every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, beginning July 1, 2026, and continuing through the last week of September.

This course is designed to prepare students for the National Registry EMT examination while providing the foundational skills and knowledge required of an Emergency Medical Technician.

The course is free of charge; however, students will be responsible for purchasing their own textbook. Additional information regarding required materials will be provided at a later date.

PRIORITY enrollment will be given to FIRST RESPONDERS within WAGONER County. If seats remain available after county first responders have been accommodated, additional applicants from outside the county and the public may be considered for enrollment.

This class will be hosted at Emergency Management in the Training room.

Please pass this along to other First Responders inside Wagoner County that would be interested in taken this course. The REGISTRATION for First Responders inside Wagoner County will be held for 2 weeks only!
