We are saying good luck and goodbye to SGT Placide👋🏾 She is leaving to become an Army Drill Sergeant! Earlier in the week, SGT Placide and her mother hosted a going away luncheon for the Company. They made a Haitian Cuisine that was delicious! Mahalo and make us proud at the academy🤙🏾

SGT Barry and SPC Veiga are both 91D's working in our Maintenance Platoon. SPC Veiga is from Georgia and has been in the Army for 4 years. This is her 2nd duty station. SGT Barry is from Califorina and has been in the Army for 8 years. This is her 3rd duty station. Both 91D's work together to provide generator support for the 2-11 FA BN.

: This morning military police responded to reports of suspicious activity at a unit building on Schofield Barracks.

Out of an abundance of caution, the surrounding area was secured to facilitate a thorough investigation. At 9:45 a.m., investigators cleared the area with no credible threats identified. All operations have returned to normal.

This followed reports earlier of an unspecified threat to a military installation and personnel in Hawaii.

We ask the community to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to military police in the North region at (808) 655-5555 or South region at (808) 438-7114.

Military police have increased force protection measures and ask the community to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. If you see something, say something.

They are serving as the Distro and Maintenance Platoon Sergeants for From planning esprit de corps activities🏐 for their Platoons, working together to accomplish tasks in the Motorpool, and pushing each other professionally to become better leaders📝; they are the perfect duo to showcase🌟

157 years ago, more than two and a half years after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, the news of the end of the Civil War and freedom for enslaved African Americans reached Galveston, Texas on June 19th. Today, we commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States.

Huge shoutout to the Pohakuloa Training Area Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) Crew! They are responsible for receiving, storing and issuing all Class V ammunitions required to support all units/activities assigned to the installation.

The Black Sheep Platoon and the Bang Crew💣 spent the last two days working diligently to turn in all live ammunition. It was safe to say the mission was accomplished✅ A huge Mahalo for working with us and accomplishing this goal. 🤙🏾

Selfless Service🫡

Our Fury Soldiers visited Uncle Dave’s Farm🐷 at Kahuapaamua to volunteer and learn about Native Hawaiian culture and agricultural practices. Uncle Dave, a Vietnam veteran, taught the meaning of respect and Aloha ʻĀina ( Love of the Land), as well as, the importance of being self sustaining. One of Uncle Dave’s main sources of produce is Taro.

🗣Fun Fact‼️ Did you know the 25th ID Patch was inspired by a Taro Leaf. The Taro Leaf is indicative of the descent of the 25th Division from the Hawaiian Division

We are showcasing Fury Company’s Senior Mechanic, SGT Dwayne Frazier. He hails from the Buckeye State🌰 His 5 years of service has shown him that his time on the line with the Soldiers is everything. He loves coaching and mentoring them, working on new equipment, and expanding his knowledge daily.

It's Monday and you know what that means. We're back in the motorpool making sure our vehicles and equipment are up to standard and ready for training. Maintenance is readiness!
