Throughout the world approximately 200 locations have been established in meetinghouses and institute buildings as "Centers for Young Adults...to bring together opportunities for gospel learning, social activities, missionary work, and activation efforts." (Handbook 2, 16.3.8) These Centers also provide a safe haven to Young Adults for fellowship, academic study, service, and personal development
and training. The Centers are open to Young Adults, ages 18 to 30, married and single, for periods of time most days of the week, to participate in scheduled and unscheduled activities. The Mililani Hawaii Stake - Wahiawa Avocado Chapel located at 538 Avocado St., Wahiawa, HI, is transitioning to become a Young Adult Center in Central Oahu, to serve the Mililani Stake and adjoining Stakes who may wish to participate. The Center will operate in concert with the Honolulu Institute and Honolulu Hawaii Mission to serve Young Adult members in Leeward, Central and North Shore Oahu areas. Most of the following scheduled and unscheduled activities are available for all Young Adults to attend. SUNDAY

Fireside - 3rd Sunday (beginning Oct. 21, 2012) - 7-9 PM
MONDAY
Family Home Evening - weekly Gospel lesson and activity (twice monthly FHE is held off-site: 3rd Monday at the Mililani Stake Center and 4th at Bishopric home) - 7-9 PM
