Saunders County Sheriff’s Office located a Stolen 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 with a bed topper in Yutan. Vehicle is said to have been parked near 17 Pine Crest at approximately 10-11pm the night of 8-8-2025

We kindly request the residents of the Yutan community to check their security cameras for any vehicle matching the above description and contact Sgt Turner with any further information.

MEDIA RELEASE- MISSING/RUNAWAY JUVENILE

On Thursday August 1, 2024, at approximately 12:44 a.m., the Saunders County Sheriff’s Office responded to 509 S. Vine St. in Mead, NE in regard to a missing/runaway juvenile.

Joseph Clark (16 y/o) left his residence at approximately 12:11 a.m. wearing a grey shirt and plaid pajama style pants. Clark was wearing no shoes.

Clark is autistic but does not require any medications. He is high functioning and verbal.

Initial investigation, using a Sheriff’s Office drone and the Ashland Police Department Bloodhound search K9, indicates that Clark may have been picked up in the area of Hwy 92 and County Road 10. No other information is available at this time. Clark is entered NCIC as a missing/runaway juvenile. A recent picture is attached.

The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone with information on Joseph Clark’s current location to please call 402-443-1000.

On or about 7-4-2024 the Yutan Police Department discovered that the Radar speed sign on County Road 5 leading into the East side of Yutan had been vandalized. The person or persons of interest likely used a firework to cause significant damage to the Radar unit totaling over $6,000. The Saunders County Sheriffs Office and the Yutan Police Department are asking any person with information on the vandalism to please report the information to Saunders County Crime Stoppers on the P3 app. Www.P3tips.com or download the app.
