The week of August 10th Waste Management will continue changing out garbage totes, 32- & 35-gallon totes for 64-gallon totes. This will take place on your regular garbage pickup day. A truck will follow the garbage truck and change them out. If you have a 32-or 35-gallon tote, please leave it on the boulevard until it is changed out. There is no increased charge for this. Waste Management is discontinuing the 32- & 35-gallon totes. Please Note: there is a serial number on the front of the tote that helps determine the size of garbage tote you have, and on the lid it also states the gallon capacity. If you have any questions or if your garbage tote is not swapped out by Friday August 14, please contact the City of Wahpeton Public Works Department at (701) 642-6565.
