This Sunday, we have several students performing in the OBDA Honor Band East concert at Kaimuki High School at 5:30pm. They have been attending outside rehearsals throughout this week to prepare for it. We hope you will be able to join us and support our WEIS band students! If you're curious to see who was nominated for Honor Band, I have the rosters posted on my window- throughout the year, these students showed musical leadership and ability to represent our school at this event. Entry is $5- all info can be found on the flyer attached.

Hope you will be able to make it and show your support for our students!

Aloha,

Kanehunamoku Voyaging Academy would like to invite all of our Windward District DOE ʻohana to the 14th annual Kualoa/Hakipuʻu Waʻa Festival.

What: Kualoa/Hakipuʻu Canoe Festival
Where: Kualoa A Regional Park
When: Saturday, March 4, 2022.
Time: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

ALL families are invited to this community event. Come early to get good parking and register.

How to Sign In/Register: When you arrive at the park come find us at our tent! We are asking families to sign in so we can collect data on DOE attendance that day. In order to ride the waʻa (canoes) there will be a registration table closer to the parking lot where you can sign all the waivers for the canoes and get a wristband which is your ticket onboard. There will also be lots of other booths and waʻa on land to check out. There will be vendors available to buy food and drinks.

Survey: Please also visit us before you leave. We would love to get some feedback from you with a survey.

Attached is a flier for the event. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.

Mahalo,
