Roger E. Mosley (December 18, 1938 – August 7, 2022) fondly known to most of us as “T.C.” Calvin, flew west on this day at 83 years of age.

Sad to report the passing of Roger E. Mosley, T.C. from Magnum, P.I.

He also starred as a blues/folk legend in 'Leadbelly' and was a regular in blaxploitation films like 'The Mack.'

A diehard Magnum PI fan from the beginning, I have long been apprehensive about a possible remake/reboot/etc that didn't live up to the original or worse, mocked it. For years there have been rumors of a remake and then a spin-off (Lily). Well for those that don't know, CBS has finally delivered a show. I suppose we'll see. . .

MAGNUM P.I. is back. Special Ops veteran, charming rogue and at home behind the wheel of a Ferrari, Thomas Magnum takes jobs no one else will, with the help of fellow vets T.C. Calvin and Rick Wright. Higgins is back too; but now it's Ms. Higgins, a former M16 agent. Based on the Emmy-winning 1980s....

Robin's Nest is a site dedicated to Pahonu, the filming location of Magnum PI. Also known as the Anderson Estate, the mansion on the property was built in 1933 and served as the Robin Masters Estate in the TV series Magnum PI that aired from 1980-1988. This site started from people checking-in on FB when visiting the estate.

Absolutely saddening news. Hate to see a landmark, especially to Magnum PI fans, go.

That's a wrap! The iconic Magnum P.I. residence known as the 'Robin's Nest' was demolished over the weekend.
