Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Property Inspector to join our team. As an Inspector, you will be responsible for measuring, describing, and digitally photographing real estate property in the Town of Highgate VT. Your role will involve conducting inspections, collecting data, and providing accurate reports to ensure the successful completion of projects.
This is a part time position. Approximately 100 inspections will be assigned per year. Once an inspection is assigned you will have two weeks to complete the assignment on your own schedule. Mileage at the IRS rate will be paid. There will be 2-3 days per year of office work in the Highgate Town office.
Responsibilities:
- Perform real estate inspections of newly approved Zoning permits
- Measure real estate structures
- Digitally photograph real estate structures
- Describe real estate structures
- Report findings via email and shared files
- 2-3 days of office work per year in the Highgate Town Office
Requirements:
- No prior experience is required
- Must have own late model vehicle with general liability insurance
- Must have own smart phone capable of taking 16mp images or higher
- Must have own PC and printer
- Must have own email with high speed internet and access to shared files
- Must have own measuring device
- Must maintain a professional image
$25-$30 per hour.
