Our office will be closed Monday, September 2, 2024 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. Please remember that the holiday will delay our trash / recycle service by one day.

SERVICE REMINDER:

This upcoming Monday, September 2nd, Borden Waste-Away services will be unavailable in observance of Labor Day. Our offices will be closed, and we will be unavailable by phone.

All trash and recycling pickup days for the week of September 2nd will be delayed by one day. For example, scheduled services regularly occurring on a Friday will instead occur on Saturday.

Town Council Work Session is Thursday, August 29th at 6:30 pm.

Town Council Meeting is Tuesday, September 3rd at 6:30 pm.

Please note that public is welcome at both meetings.

Beginning Monday, August 26 the parking lot at Wakarusa Public Library, the town parking lot by Dr. Weldy’s and the alleyways in this block will be resurfaced. This work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, August 30th. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Tomorrow (July 31) work will start on a storm line extension in the alleyway between Pro IT Solutions and Larimer Furniture. This alleyway will be closed.

The project will also impact W Waterford Street as well as the intersection at Olive Street. The intersection will likely be closed a few days to install new structures. W Waterford Street is anticipated to remain closed through Friday, August 16th.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but appreciate your help and support as we make accommodations to eliminate hazards in this alleyway.
