Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry We accept monetary and food donations at the pantry at 149 E. Holding Avenue in Wake Forest. Holding Ave., Wake Forest NC. Food donations may also be made there.

Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry in Wake Forest North Carolina distributes food to the hungry from the facility at 149 E. Hours are 10:00 to 1:00, every Mondays and Wednesday and on the 2nd & 3rd Saturday from 10:00 to 1:00. Tax deductible monetary donations may made via our website at www.triareaministry.com/donate.

A big thank you to these wonderful volunteers from the Krewe of Pyros for spending time with us and helping pack food donations for our clients.

We love seeing community groups put their mission into action. Their helping hands made a real difference as we prepared food for our neighbors—and helped keep everything moving behind the scenes.

💚 Good news worth sharing!

We were honored to be invited to speak at this week’s Wake Forest Rotary Club meeting. It’s always great to engage with this incredible group of community leaders and talk about what we can collectively do to address food insecurity in our community.

And there was a fun surprise!

At each meeting, Rotary members can share a little good news in exchange for putting $1 in the pot. At the end of the meeting, one lucky member wins the pot.

This week’s winner generously turned around and donated the entire pot to Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry! 💵💚

🌱🍅 The growing season may be winding down, but the generosity keeps growing!

As August slips into September, our community gardens are beginning to slow down. But volunteers are still arriving with containers full of the season’s last tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, and other fresh-picked produce.

Every bit of it goes directly to helping our neighbors bring fresh, healthy food home to their families.

To all of the gardeners who planted a little extra, tended it all summer, picked it, and brought it to us: thank you for sharing your harvest! 💚

This month our Enclave at Hidden Lake member of PORCH Communities collected and donated approximately 600 lbs of non-perishables to Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry! This is our first PORCH Youngsville, NC donation to this new partner pantry. We are grateful for all our donors and our partner pantries! By neighbors helping neighbors we are fighting hunger one porch at a time!

Overall PORCH Youngsville collected 1,007 lbs and $1,045 in grocery funds for our local partner pantries in August. Cumulatively since inception we’ve donated 5,989 lbs and $1,827 to our partner pantries.

We love seeing parents lead by example and show their children what compassion, generosity and helping others are all about.

This young man brought us two full bags of breakfast cereal—and he made sure to donate the kinds he likes.

His reasoning was pretty perfect:

“I figured other kids like me will like these if I do.” 🥣💚

Socks are a simple necessity that can easily be overlooked, and our clients are always appreciative to receive them alongside their groceries.
