A "bow echo" with severe winds is still moving southward and will affect parts of southwest and central Kansas overnight. The main concerns are wind gusts of 50-60+ mph and small hail. A weakening trend is forecast overnight; but severe winds are possible even as far south as Dodge City.

Picked this pretty pup up at the 24/7 truck stop this evening. If anyone knows her owners please call 785-743-5711. She has a faded pink collar on but no tags. Thank you.

Fraud alert!!!!!

We have been seeing an increase in fraud attempts in our community. This one is posing as the IRS! Please do not fall for these scams. You don’t want to give anyone your bank account information. AND you don’t want to scan their URL code

We also have seen scams targeting our older population. They promise money beyond their imagination but require payments up front.

If you or someone you know has fallen victim to such fraud, please let us know. We will help as much as we can. Unfortunately, many of these scammers reside outside of the US.
