Come one come all,

Free food, a little corn hole, and tour the Mill!
Come to see the newly renovated damn, and tour the Mill as in days gone by... The old machines are running, and have a story to tell!
Also the fresh paint , done by volunteers from Liberty Mutual, as well as UVCA members... look really good! The place is beginning to shine!

We are having our Dam celebration - family , food and fun day at the Lyle Drew mill , this Saturday! Oct 26,2024 at 12:00-2:00
The UVCA is excited to show off all the work that the late Tom Dube and his crew did this summer. It's a bitter sweet event, because we originally wanted to honor Tom, and all the hard work his team and he did...
Our schedule had been originally to have a big event, but as most of you know, Tom passed away unexpectedly, and it's been hard to approach a celebration on such a sad time, but if it wasn't for Tom and his crew, we wouldn't have much to celebrate. So bare with us, as we close out the year with a presentation on the work that has been done, and an appreciation, for the guy that made it happen..
We'll have burgers and hot dogs, warm apple cider, and other things to eat and drink...
we have a 10x30 tent, as well as a fire pit to warm up if the weather is calling for it.
Bring your kids and have a dam picnic! Hope to see you there...

The UVCA is at a loss. We spent a great summer working with Tom Dube as he shared his expertise and enthusiasm on the Lyle Drew Dam project. We, as a community, have lost a wonderful citizen and he will be missed in so many ways. We learn more and more each day just how involved he was and how lucky we were to have his energy! The Lyle Drew Mill project came to life again after Tom stepped forward again for our town!
Tom Dube has imprinted himself on our hearts, as well as all who knew him, and the more we learn about this man- larger than life-the more of a loss we realize. To his family, workers, friends and community.. we send our prayers, and condolences.
He is greatly missed.
