💜 Honoring Roberta Richman: Artist and Advocate

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we are honored to celebrate Roberta Richman and her lifelong advocacy for women.

Through her art and decades of dedication to creating opportunities for women, Roberta has made a lasting impact on our community. We are grateful to partner with Hera Gallery to bring Landscapes by Roberta Richman to the Domestic Violence Resource Center.

This beautiful collection invites us to pause, reflect, and connect through art while helping create a space that inspires healing, creativity, and hope.

📍 Landscapes by Roberta Richman is on view at DVRC through May 1, 2027. A portion of artwork sales will directly benefit DVRC and support survivors of domestic violence.

For survivors leaving an abusive relationship, finding a safe place to live is an important step toward rebuilding.

Our Transitional Housing program provides eligible survivors and their families with stable housing and support as they work toward greater independence and a future free from abuse.
Because finding safety is just the beginning. Everyone deserves the opportunity to build a life where they can feel secure, supported, and hopeful.

We’re honored to celebrate Landscapes by Roberta Richman and recognize Roberta for her lifelong advocacy for women. 💜

Join us for an opening reception on Thursday, October 1 from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Domestic Violence Resource Center, 61 Main Street in Wakefield.

The exhibition, presented in collaboration with Hera Gallery, will be on view through May 1, 2027. A portion of proceeds from artwork sales will be donated directly to DVRC.

A big thank you to the team at 's Credit Union for spending their Day of Purpose supporting DVRC! 💜

Their team volunteered at our Drop-In Center, helping with yard work and general maintenance to keep these spaces welcoming, safe, and cared for.
