SNL Sports MLK Day

SNL Sports will be running an All Sports clinic on MLK Day. If your child is looking to stay active and participate in a variety of sports and games, then the SNL All Sports Clinic is the place to be!! Participants will play at least 2 different sports like dodgeball, wiffleball, basketball and capture the flag, to name a few. This clinic is designed to be all about fun! Please send your child with a non-refrigerated snack for half-day and a non-refrigerated snack and lunch for full-day. No nut products!!!!

Holiday Decorating Contest: vote for your favorite door! I don't think you'll have a tough time figuring which one ours is but in case you aren't 100% sure it is......PICKLEBALL. We Decked the Halls with Pickleballs and would appreciate any and all votes. We have been talking some smack with other departments and want to not only talk the talk, but walk the walk. Details are below.

To bring some winter cheer to our municipal buildings, and some fun for our staff, we are hosting our first door decorating contest. These doors are located in municipal buildings around town, and we want the community to pick the winner.
The individual/department who receives the most votes will be showcased in our winter newsletter and earn incredible bragging rights.
Please vote for your favorite by December 21. The winner will be announced on Monday, December 22. One vote per person, please.

Time to vote, Wakefield! Many of our municipal departments decorated their office doors in our first Holiday Decorating contest, and we want YOU to pick your favorite (there are bragging rights on the line!) Take a moment to visit www.wakefieldma.gov/doors-2025, check out their creativity, and submit that form by Sunday, December 21.

2025 Wakefield Recreation Fantasy Football League Draft Lottery! 16 of your FAVORITE Summer Rec Staff will compete for the title of Fantasy Champion. Those in the league are Hannah, Olivia, Ms. Duffy, Emma, Yana, Ethan, Cam, Breezy, Julia, John, Sean, Maggie, Zach, Nik, alumni staff Aidan, and the overwhelming favorite to win it all - Dan.

A look back on our art show Friday. Thank you to for putting this show together, and for showing the kids some of his art and also helping set up! Lastly we can’t forget the man on the keyboards playing some Toy Story for everyone to enjoy. We hope that everyone enjoyed their year at camp and has a great rest of their summer!

Some pics from the last day of .rsw.ma camp. They worked on designing road marking robots. They also played some games, got some certificates and more!

Yesterday .rsw.ma camp made garbage trucks then automated them too! Today was their last day, we hope that everyone had a great week!

Volley ball camp learning some of the basics today like serving. Rec camp had an electric musical chairs game followed by kids test kitchen, where we made sweet treat salsa!
