⚠️Notice of New Pedestrian Crosswalk on Anderson Pike⚠️
Walden is pleased to announce that a new pedestrian crosswalk has been installed on Anderson Pike adjacent to the intersection with Laurel Avenue.
The crosswalk has been installed to enhance pedestrian safety and improve connectivity within the community.
Motorists are reminded to exercise caution, reduce speed when approaching the area, and yield to pedestrians using the crosswalk as required by law. Pedestrians are encouraged to use the designated crossing and remain attentive to surrounding traffic.
Thank you for helping keep everyone safe as we all get used to this new traffic feature.

Notice to Residents
Town Hall will be closed to in-person public access from July 13 through July 17 for office organization projects.
Although the building will be closed to foot traffic, Town staff will continue to provide services remotely by:
• Responding to emails
• Checking and returning phone messages
• Processing requests as available during normal business hours
If you need assistance during this period, please contact us by phone or email, and we will respond as promptly as possible.
Town Hall will reopen for regular in-person business on July 20.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to better serve our community.

🚧Road Construction Notice🚧

The Town of Walden is constructing a new crosswalk on Anderson Pike between Wilson Avenue and Taft Highway. Construction is scheduled to run through July 15. Lane closures will be limited to the approved 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM window to minimize inconvenience to motorists.
