On April 12, 2026, at 1500, Company 3 was dispatched 2nd due to the 2000 block of Rosewood Drive for the house fire.

E33, Duty 3, Chief 3A, and Chief 3 responded.

RE12 arrived to find a 2 story single family home, with fire showing from side charlie and through the roof.

While RE12 extinguished fire in the rear, E33 stretched a line through the front door and extinguished all fire on Divisions 1 and 2.

Company 3 operated for approximately 2 hours.

On April 7, 2026, at approximately 1456, Company 3 was dispatched first due to the 12000 block of Hidden View Place for the house fire.

E33 and Chief 3A responded. E33 arrived to find a 1 story single family home, with fire showing from the bravo side, with extension into the attic.

Company 3 extinguished the same, and Chief 3A held the command. Units operated for approximately 2 hours.

Shortly before noon, Company 3 was dispatched to the 15000 block of Poplar Hill Road for the MVC Extrication.

Squad 3, Duty 3, and Chief 3A responded.

Squad 3 arrived to find 1 subject trapped, and removed the same. Duty 3 had command.

On March 12, 2026, at approximately 2355, Company 3 responded first due to the 12100 block of Ell Lane for the structure fire. Callers reported heavy smoke in the area, with something on fire. E33, Tower 3, and BC3C responded.

While investigating, Company 3 located a single family home, located at the 11800 block of Patchwork Place, with fire showing.

Due to the secluded area at which the home was located, E33 placed in service a “leader line” that extended 800 feet. TW3 conducted primary searches that came back negative.

Company 3 operated for approximately 3 hours, and BC3C held the command.

On March 11, 2026, at approximately 1327, Company 3 responded 2nd due to the 10700 block of Esprit Place for the structure fire.

E33, SQ3, and BC3C responded. Units arrived on scene of a 3 story, middle of the group townhouse, with fire and smoke showing.

E33 stretched a line, and found fire in the attic, extinguishing the same. Primary searches were conducted by SQ3, and all searches came back negative with the exception of one fish removed from the dwelling.

BC3C held the command.

Shortly before noon at 1152, Company 3 was dispatched to Crain Highway/Gillespie Circle for the MVC.

Minutes later, the assignment was upgraded to an extrication. Units found subjects trapped, removed them from the vehicle, and turned over care to EMS.

Early this morning at approximately 0639, Company 3 was dispatched mutual aid to St. Mary's County for the house fire.

Units arrived to find fire through the roof. E31 and Tower 3 assisted with fire extinguishment and extensive overhaul, operating for approximately 5 hours.

Sadly, 1 individual was found deceased in the residence later in the morning. The MD State Fire Marshal is investigating.
