Jim Conroy will be incredibly missed by all. If you knew Jim, you knew what a heart of gold he had. Among so many other achievements, several years ago he put together a benefit fundraiser for Kim. Sam Grow performed and it was an incredible success. The Babes gals chipped in as well as the Waldorf Lions Club. Jim's incredible leadership will be a hard void to fill.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Lion Jim Conroy.

We ask each of you to take a moment today, tomorrow, sometime this week, or whenever you find the time, to reflect on your experiences and memories with Lion Jim and the impact he had on our club and our community.

Lion Jim truly exemplified what it means to be a Lion. He gave so much of himself in service to others and to our community, never asking for anything in return other than friendship and the opportunity to make a difference.

His dedication, generosity, and friendship will be deeply missed, but the impact he made through his service and the relationships he built will remain with us for years to come.

Please keep Lion Jim’s family, friends, and fellow Lions in your thoughts during this time.

Our Blood Drive efforts are seriously threatened by a shortage of donors for our August 21st drive @ the Waldorf volunteer fire department. If we do not have a sufficient number of registered donors, our drive that day will be cancelled.

Please, please, please do what it takes to sign up to donate. It is easy to install the Red Cross donation app on your phone using Apple's App Store or Google's Play Store. Registering as a user & signing up to donate will take just a few minutes. It's free & no credit card info is needed.

Thank you to all who came out to support us at yesterday’s Bull and Oyster Roast!
Thanks also to our sponsors, Elks Lodge 2421, our North Point High School volunteers and anyone else who contributed to the success of the event!
Shout out to Noel Duke and Friends who kept things rocking at the pavilion!

Our Bull and Oyster roast is this Sunday at the Elks Lodge in Waldorf.
Always a great event!
Fantastic food, soft drinks, draft beer and live band (Noel Duke and Friends).
Games of chance, Wagon of Cheer Raffle, and cash bar.
The Charles County Literacy Council will be on hand with baked goods (donations requested).
All proceeds to the Lions go back to help our community, fund vision research and other vision projects, help fund the Leader Dog project and help fund international disaster relief efforts.
Please come out for a great time!
Tickets available at the door.
Noon to 4:00, Sunday 26 April!
