Hiring Jailers!

The Scott County Detention Center is hiring Jailers.
Apply in person at the Scott County Sheriff's Department located at 100 W 1st Street in Waldron, Arkansas.

Jailers are required to be able to pass a Physical Examination, a background check, and a Mental Evaluation upon employment.

Jailers must be at least 18 years of age, have an Arkansas Driver's License, have a High School Diploma or GED,
and be available to work any scheduled shifts (varied hours of 8-12 hour shifts, weekends and/or holidays).

Starting pay as of January 1, 2023
Jailers - $16.11 per hour

Full-Time Benefits include:
• Health, Vision, and Dental insurance paid for by Scott County for the employee
• 2 weeks vacation after 1 year
• earned sick time
• 13 paid holidays per year
