Last night, the Waldron High School Band earned 2nd Division (Excellent) ratings at Region Marching Assessment!

We received some great feedback from the judges that will help us continue to grow and improve. I’m proud of the progress our students have made this season and the hard work they continue to put in.

We’re looking forward to taking what we’ve learned and continuing to get better with every performance! 🧡🖤

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause our families. The health and safety of our students and staff remain our top priority.

Waldron School District would like to congratulate Ken Overturf on his retirement from the school bus. His last bus route was yesterday afternoon. After 11½ years transporting students for the Waldron School District, Ken Overturf is trading early alarms and “Everybody sit down!” for a schedule of his own!

Ken, thank you for the care you showed our students and for helping them get safely to school and home. You’ll be missed, but we’re excited for your next chapter.

Enjoy the ride, Ken—you’ve earned it!
