We are currently experiencing flooding on city streets. Please stay home and avoid all non-essential travel. Several trees have been reported down. DO NOT CROSS FLOODED ROADS — it is extremely dangerous.

Dispatch is having trouble activating the sirens. We are under a tornado warning and the shelter at the schools are open. As of this time there is NOT a tornado on the ground. Get to a safe place until we are out of the warning. Police units will be driving around with the sirens on to warn.
