Today we had the opportunity to welcome our incoming 5th graders for the 2026-2027 school year to Waldron Middle School! 🧡🖤

Students learned all about our WMS HEART expectations, toured the building, and visited each teacher in their classrooms. We loved getting to meet these future Bulldogs and helping them feel excited and prepared for next year!

We are looking forward to welcoming this great group of students to WMS and can’t wait to see all they accomplish as Bulldogs! 🐾

Last but certainly not least, we are highlighting our special class and special education teachers! 🌟

Our students describe them as caring, hard-working, funny, and “the best ever!” Their creativity, encouragement, and dedication help make every school day meaningful and memorable for our students. These teachers inspire students to learn, grow, and have fun along the way.

Some of the students’ favorite memories include enjoying mass band nights and choir concerts, participating in drawing contests, and celebrating together at class parties. One student shared that they were especially thankful for Mr. Turman because he gave them a pep talk during a time when they were feeling very stressed. Another student was thankful for Mrs. G helping him throughout the year!

Thank you to our special class teachers for all you do for our school each and every day! 💙
