It is with a heavy heart that I offer my deepest condolences on the passing of our brother firefighter and past Fire Chief, Dave Meyer of the East Aurora Fire Dept.
He was not only a dedicated and respected leader in the fire service, but also a wonderful friend who will be deeply missed. His years of service, courage, kindness, and commitment to his community touched many lives and will not be forgotten.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, loved ones, friends, and his fellow firefighters during this difficult time.
Rest easy, Chief. Thank you for your friendship and for a lifetime of service to others. You will be greatly missed and never forgotten. 🚒🙏
It is with great sadness that the East Aurora Fire Department announces the passing of Past Chief David Meyer.
Chief Meyer dedicated a significant part of his life to serving the East Aurora community and the members of the East Aurora Fire Department. His leadership, commitment, and service helped shape our department and left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
Today, we remember Chief Meyer not only for the position he held, but for the firefighter, leader, and friend he was to so many.
