🚨 24-Hour Boil Water Advisory 🚨

The Walhalla Water Department is issuing a 24-hour Boil Water Advisory for affected customers from Warner Mill Road up West Bear Swamp Road to Westminster Highway. Also for customers along Westminster Highway from West Bear Swamp Road down to Rochester Circle and surrounding areas.

As an abundance of caution, customers are advised to boil all water intended for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and food preparation for at least three (3) minutes before use.

This advisory is being issued due to a temporary loss of water and water pressure in the system due to a contractor hitting one of our main water lines. The advisory will remain in effect for 24 hours while water quality samples are collected and tested to ensure the safety of the water supply.

Customers will be notified once the advisory has been lifted.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation.
