✨ Make 2026 the year you prioritize your health! ✨
Consider joining the Health Extension for Diabetes support program. This FREE program is designed for:
✔️ Adults 18 years or older
✔️ Individuals with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
Over the course of 16 weeks, participants will:
• Learn more about diabetes
• Set realistic health goals
• Take meaningful steps toward better health
• Receive ongoing support through health coaching calls
Enrollment begins January 13, 2026!

Clemson Extension's Rural Health and Nutrition Team is offering its first-ever, in-person Health Extension for Diabetes Program in Spanish!
This free program, hosted by Clemson Rural Health in Walhalla, begins January 22, 2026.

To help out our local community, Oconee County Extension Office will serve as a food donation drop-off site for the next several weeks. Donations will be taken to a local food pantry to help out our neighbors facing food insecurity. If you'd like to donate non-perishable food items, we will be taking donations during normal business hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Please help us spread the word! Together, we can make a difference.

Join Horticulture Agent Briana Naumuk and Forestry Agent Carolyn Dawson for their upcoming Landscape Care Workshop on September 30th. They will be covering tree and shrub care. Guest speaker, Anderson County, Horticulture Agent Samantha Brown, will be speaking on Fall Turf Maintenance. The workshop will take place from 9 am-12 pm at the Oconee County Extension Office located in the Oconee Agricultural Building. See you there!
