Happy everyone!
We had a full fire house this morning! 🚒

Some kiddos, parents and teachers from James M. Brown, came out to walk through the fire house, look at equipment, learn when/how to call 911 and learn what to do in the case of an emergency. Some teachers even tried on gear!

The children were able to touch the turn out gear, and also see what a firefighter in full gear looks like.
Children also learned how to STOP! DROP! AND ROLL!! What a great day here at WFD. Come on by and see us! 🔥

ATTENTION EVERYONE!! We have WFD “Support The Cure” shirts for sale!! These are $25 each, quantities are very limited! FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! (M- 3XL)
Shirts may be purchased at the Station until 5:00 PM tomorrow and then will we have them at Oktoberfest all weekend!

A reminder about our hydrant testing! If you see discoloration in your water, this may be the cause.

The City of Walhalla Fire Department will be conducting Hydrant Testing beginning on October 1, 2025.
Testing will continue throughout the month of October.
