On behalf of the Walker Fire Department, we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our Annual Firefighters Breakfast during Walker Pickle Days!

From the first plate served to the last, your support, generosity, and community spirit made this year’s breakfast another tremendous success. We truly couldn’t do it without our amazing volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who joined us for a great meal.

We also hope everyone had an amazing time celebrating Walker Pickle Days! It’s always great to see our community come together to support local organizations, enjoy great food, and make lasting memories.

Today members of the Walker Fire Department had the opportunity to complete hands-on fire training using the Interior Fire Attack Simulator provided by the Fire Service Training Bureau!

This training gave our firefighters the chance to work in realistic fire conditions, practice interior fire attack, advance hose lines, improve communication, and continue building the teamwork needed when every second counts.

A special thank you to the trainers that came and helped with this amazing trailer!

Tonight the Walker Fire Department focused on ladder operations and SCBA basics and proficiency. Continuous training ensures our firefighters are prepared to respond safely and effectively when our community needs us most.
