🎉💙 HAPPY RETIREMENT, DANIEL! 💙🎉

Today at LAC, we had the honor of celebrating someone who has been part of our family for an incredible 36½ YEARS! 🥹💙

Daniel began his journey with LAC on March 1, 1990, and today, August 28, 2026, we celebrated his retirement with cake, ice cream, lots of smiles, and a special retirement certificate recognizing his many wonderful years with us. 🎂🍦🏆

For more than three decades, Daniel has filled LAC with his smiles, laughter, friendship, and kind heart. He has made so many memories and touched so many lives along the way.

While we are going to miss seeing Daniel, we are so excited for him as he begins this next chapter. He will always be a special part of our LAC family! 💙

Please help us congratulate Daniel on 36½ amazing years and wish him a very happy and well-deserved retirement! 🎉👏💙

💦☀️ TICKFAW STATE PARK FIELD TRIP! ☀️💦

Yesterday we had the BEST time at Tickfaw State Park! 🌳💗 The weather was absolutely wonderful, and our participants had an absolute BLAST at the splash pad!

🔫💦 Water guns were spraying…
🏐💦 Water balls were flying…
🪣💦 Buckets of water were being thrown at EVERYONE! 😂

There were smiles, laughter, friendship, and togetherness everywhere you looked! 🥰 Seeing everyone laughing, playing, and simply enjoying the day together made this field trip so special.

A HUGE thank you to all of the parents, guardians, and family members who came out and joined us! 💕 Your help, participation, and willingness to jump right into the fun made an already great day even better!

We may have gone home a little wet 😂💦, but we definitely went home with full hearts and some wonderful memories! ❤️

✂️💌 WHAT AN AMAZING TIME AT SCRAPPY SECONDS! 💌✂️

We had the absolute BEST time visiting Scrappy Seconds in Denham Springs! 🥰🎨

A huge THANK YOU to the owner, Carrie, for being so thoughtful and reaching out to invite us to come participate in a card-making class! 💕 It truly meant so much to us to be welcomed into such a fun, creative space.

The girls got to pick out their own cards, choose from all kinds of colorful paper scraps and designs, watch their Sizzix pieces being made, and then put everything together in their own unique way. ✂️🌸💌 There were SO many fun supplies and creative possibilities to choose from!

But the best part was watching each of our girls create something that was completely THEIRS. They made cards for people who are special to them, wrote sweet messages inside, laughed, smiled, and were so proud of what they created. 🥹❤️

Carrie and the ladies at Scrappy Seconds were incredibly patient, encouraging, and welcoming. Experiences like this give our participants an opportunity to be creative, make their own choices, practice new skills, and be involved in our community—and we are so thankful for businesses that open their doors and hearts to us. 💕

Scrappy Seconds, you definitely haven't seen the last of us! 😂✂️💌 The girls had an AMAZING time, and we already can't wait to come back!
