The Walker Missouri Lending Library has a nice selection of books to meet the interest of a variety of readers. Just a quick look into the library today, readers can choose a large print puzzle book, a New York Times Best Selling author, a Seseme Street children's classic story and even a how to book for readers wanting to develop their juggling skills. We are thankful to have this wonderful resource in our community and appreciative of those who support the library by donating books, help to maintain the library and readers who support by visiting and borrowing books!. Sharing these upcoming events for the benefit of our NEVC families

Thanks to our wonderful community volunteers our city park transition is underway! Volunteers have begun the physical phase of transitioning the courts in the park to a multi-purpose surface to include pickleball courts. We are appreciative of all who have a hand in the project from securing funding, designing, organizing volunteers and construction to improve the park area for our community! As a reminder for our residents, the court area will be out of commission for a short time while the construction phase is ongoing.

Our NEVC Booster Club is sponsoring a volleyball tournament at the NEVC Campus in Walker. Residents are invited to watch the games and support the club and NEVC senior class and enjoy great food and snacks.
