Serving the Town of Walkerton, Polk and Lincoln townships, the Walkerton-Polk-Lincoln Ambulance service is a volunteer ambulance service that provides safe transportation and emergency medical care for the sick and injured with due regard for the safety of the general public for the town of Walkerton, Polk Township and Lincoln Township, in addition to any requests for mutual aid and/or disaster aid.

The South Bend Police Department shares its sincere thoughts and prayers with La Porte County Sheriff's Office Deputy Jon Samuelson, as he continues the fight of his life following a shooting earlier today in Michigan City.

We are thinking of his family, friends and fellow officers at this difficult time.
