We're excited to announce that free radon test kits are now available at Sac County Public Health!
Radon testing is an important step in protecting your family's health and reducing your risk of radon exposure.
📋A few important details:
▪️Kits are available only to Sac County residents.
▪️You will need to stop by our office and complete a short form.
▪️Kits are intended for residential dwellings only. Businesses, organizations, and other non-residential properties are not eligible to receive a kit.

Wall Lake's water system pumps about 150,000 gallons of water every day. Rick and Joe work behind the scenes to make sure the system works whenever you need it. Please tell Rick and Joe Thank You when you see them.

Road work... Are you sick of it yet? Well... To Bad
The road work in town will begin next week maybe Wednesday. What does that mean? Center street and First street will have asphalt removed then a brand new smooth layer laid back. This will cause delays in your travel but it will not close roads.

If you live on Center or First streets please do not park on those roads for the next two weeks. Questions call 664-2216

Road work: I see signs on Center Street and 6th Street which I believe means the mill and overlay the county is gonna do on those roads means our project will start soon. We will mill out 3" and overlay 2" on Center Street (Needham Ave) from the railroad tracks to 6th Street. Also will mill 3" and overlay 2" on 1st Street from Center to corp limit by Cook Siding. You will be able to drive on the roads while works is going on but you will have delays.
