Congratulations to the convention committee members and all of the American Fire Sprinkler Association membership for an incredibly successful event! Preliminary estimates show over 1,200 attendees representing a diverse base of professionals working to protect the public.

The team at AFSA, from the first time members all the way to the chair of the board are second to none. What this staff and leadership has built is incredible. We are honored to have been able to witness the past decade of growth.

Our founder and senior Fire Protection Engineer Christopher M Campion Jr P.E., an EKU Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology graduate, presented the topic of "Why behind the design". A basic fire science overview reviewing hazard classifications and flow rates for fire sprinkler systems.

While many of those who work on or around fire sprinkler systems learn about sprinkler systems and codes, the "Fire" part is often overlooked. In the end, that is our purpose. To protect the world from the ravages of fire. The session was extremely well received and we look forward to delivering it again in the future!

It's an honor to share the stage at such a grand event. AFSA is the largest fire sprinkler association in the US. We look forward to bringing this out on the road to help educate all of the local chapters who asked about it! If you aren't a member, join now at FireSprinkler.org, and be sure to find your local chapters!

It was great to see all of our old friends and make many new ones!

We look forward to seeing you all again in Orlando for AFSA42!
