At approximately 5:40 PM this evening, all three Wall Township fire stations were dispatched to a reported house fire on Curtis Avenue in the West Belmar section of the township, Fire District 1.
Within five minutes of dispatch, the first-arriving Engine Company was on location and initiating an aggressive fire attack. The fire was quickly contained to the room of origin, and no injuries were reported.
Crews from Wall Fire Company No. 1, S. Wall Engine Company 3, Glendola Fire Company, and South Wall Fire Rescue operated on scene until the incident was placed under control and deemed safe.
EMS operations were handled by Wall Community First Aid and Monmouth County MEDSTAR, ensuring the well-being of both residents and firefighters.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Wall Township Fire Marshal’s Office, in conjunction with the Wall Township Police Department.
