Jim Johnson of Quinn, South Dakota, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at his home north of Quinn at the age of 75

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our brother, Jeff Siscoe, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Today we honor Rick, a man who spent 40 years volunteering with the Wall Ambulance Service and 38 years with the Wall Volunteer Fire Department. He didn’t serve for recognition—he served because that’s where the need was, and that’s where he chose to be.

Rick showed us that true service is about showing up, again and again, for others. His legacy lives on in every life he touched and every call he answered.
Thank you, Rick, for a lifetime of selfless dedication. You will never be forgotten.
