On June 12, we celebrate Women Veterans Recognition Day, honoring the service, sacrifice, and contributions of women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. This important day commemorates the signing of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, a milestone that allowed women to serve as permanent members of the U.S. military.

Communities across the country are hosting events, ceremonies, and celebrations recognizing women veterans and their impact. We invite you to join us in honoring these remarkable women and finding opportunities to connect with fellow veterans.
