Thank you to Walla Walla Eastgate Lions for a donation that was raised during their Family Fun Day event back in June. We are honored you chose our Meals on Wheels program to receive these funds!

This week we got some delicious local produce donations! Nathan with Walla Walla Valley Farm to School brought some basil, kale, collard greens, and chives. Chesed Farms provided oyster and lions mane mushrooms! This fresh produce is used in our nutrition program which goes out to older adults in our community. Thank you for the donations!

Happy birthday to our Adult Day Services program director, Alex! We got to celebrate him today with a delicious Chess Cake.

We are looking for a new permanent volunteer driver for Mondays to deliver Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors. This is a fun and meaningful way to support our aging community! If you are interested or would like to learn more, please contact Jane at 509-527-3775.

Mail delivery! Postcards with a Purpose: We asked some of our donors why they give.

Our organization is more than meets the eye. Meals, tax help, cards, respite care, the list goes on! “Acceptance and dignity is served here.” We couldn’t agree more!

We hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July weekend! Last week we had our 4th of July and summer BBQ at our center. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, ice cream floats, and some fun decorations. It was a full house and we had a great time!

It’s our executive director’s birthday this week! We celebrated with some cake over in the Adult Day Services Program room today. We couldn’t do what we do without Brian’s leadership. Happy birthday to him!
