Summer is almost over, Bulldogs!
We can't wait to welcome our Berney families back for Open House!

Monday, August 17
4:30–5:30 PM

Come explore your classroom, meet your teacher, reconnect with old friends, make some new ones, and get excited for an amazing school year ahead!

While you're there, be sure to stop by the PTA booth to say hello, learn about all the fun events we have planned, and find out how you can get involved. Whether you have a little time or a lot, we'd love to have you be part of making this year unforgettable for our students.

We are so excited to see all of our Berney families and kick off another fantastic school year together!

🌸 Don’t forget! Tomorrow is the annual Berney Elementary Flower Show! 🌸

This year’s theme is **“Around the World”** and we can’t wait to see all the creative entries our students come up with!

A few reminders:
🌼 All flower show items will need to be picked up after school or they will be discarded.
🌼 Every student who enters will win a prize!
🌼 The grade with the most entries will win a popsicle party!
🌼 Be sure to vote for your favorite teacher creation!

This is always such a fun event for our Berney students, and family & friends are welcome to stop by and enjoy the flower show too!

We loved having Superintendent Dr. Ben Gauyan stop by Berney and lend a helping hand! It was such a great reminder of how much heart goes into our school community.

Our kitchen staff truly works so hard every day to make sure our kiddos are fed and taken care of while they’re at school. We appreciate everything they do more than words can say!

Bring some loose change and “decorate” your favorite teachers with fun temporary tattoos! There’s no set amount. Any amount is welcome, and every little bit adds to the fun.

It’s a fun way for kids to interact with their teachers in a silly, memorable way. You won’t want to miss it! 💛
