Residential fire alarm response this morning at 1:42 am. Engine 1 arrived on scene and advised nothing showing. After investigation and talks with the homeowner, the alarm was set off falsely.

This afternoon at 12:29 pm NEVFD responded to a reported vehicle fire. Squad 9 arrived on scene and advised a fully involved car fire. Fire attack was initiated by Squad 9. NE Engine 1 arrived on scene and helped surpress the fire while also supplying Sq9 with water. Good work by all.

On Tuesday 8/18, we had the opportunity to attend a class put on by Energy Transfers and Hilco Transportation over at the Crestwood LP transfer station. We learned how they load and unload LP, Butane, and other petroleum products. This information will be helpful in case of an emergency involving a train car or tractor trailer carrying one of these commodities.

10-50 this afternoon at 1:51 pm. One vehicle in the ditch. Northeast units stayed on scene until the vehicle was removed from the ditch.

10-50 one vehicle in the ditch this morning at 11:32 am. North East Engine 1 responded and conducted traffic control until the vehicle was removed from the ditch.

This afternoon at 3:46 pm NEVFD was dispatched to a 10/50 1 vehicle in the ditch. Engine 1 arrived on scene to find 1 car in the ditch with air bags deployed. The patient was treated by EMS. Once EMS cleared, all North East units cleared the scene.

07/31/2026

This afternoon at approximately 1:30 pm we were dispatched to a brush fire endangering a structure. Auto aide was dispatched which consisted of Teachey, Wallace, and Greenevers. Teachey Engine 13 arrived on scene first and found a grass fire near a residential structure. Once North East Tanker 2 arrived on scene all units not on scene were canceled while en route. A huge thanks to all of our auto aide departments for their assistance and response.
