So good to see this arch restored and back where it belongs.

The Restoration process is looking good on the Walled Lake Cemetery sign!

For you history buffs - the Walled Lake Cemetery Association formed in 1887. In the minutes from March 1894, it was decided to put up a fence with 2 double gates, with an arch over the north gates.

The Arched section being put back up is part of the original fence.

It was pulled down prior from storm damage.

Big thanks to our DPW team for saving and restoring a little piece of Walled Lake’s History!
