Last week we had our grand opening of our CARE Closet and were so proud to serve 49 of our Waller ISD family members! We distributed over 200 items of clothing, over 150 hygiene products, and fellowshipped with our incredible community. We cannot wait to see you all again in October and continue to serve our Waller ISD family. Thank you to the incredible administrators, community, staff, board members, and volunteers who made our CARE Closet possible!

Our CARE Closet is super excited to launch a new initiative that helps our Waller HS students in need acquire formal wear for different HS events! Every student deserves the chance to feel special in a perfect outfit for a dance. Our first event of the year is our homecoming dance next month. The incredible Mrs. Sarah Flukinger will be spearheading this initiative and we need YOUR help! Do you have formal dresses or formal men's wear that have just been sitting in your closet? Jewelry that hasn't been worn that would be the perfect for a homecoming dance or prom? We would love to take them off your hands! Please contact Mrs. Flukinger at [email protected] for more information or to learn how to donate!

As we are getting closer to the CARE Closet's first day open to the community for our Waller ISD family this month, we wanted to highlight and thank so many of the incredible people and organizations that have worked TIRELESSLY to help make the CARE Closet a reality. Our first spotlight is the Waller Women's Club! With their Waller ISD Liaison (the incomparable Julie Bankston), they have poured their time, resources, and heart into making the CARE Closet a reality. Thank you so much, Women's Club! You all have been a light and absolute joy!
