🚗☀️ As we enter the summer months, the Wallingford Police Department would like to remind all motorists to drive safely and obey all traffic laws. Increased traffic, warmer weather, and more pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorcyclists on our roadways make it especially important to stay alert behind the wheel.

The South Central Traffic Enforcement Team, along with the Wallingford Police Department Traffic Division, will be conducting increased traffic enforcement efforts throughout town to help keep the motoring public safe.

Please remember:
• Obey posted speed limits
• Eliminate distracted driving
• Never drive impaired
• Yield to pedestrians and cyclists
• Buckle up and ensure passengers are properly restrained

Together, we can make this a safe summer for everyone traveling through our community. 🚔

The Wallingford Elks Lodge 1365 generously donated funds to cover the purchase and subscription fees for a GPS collar for K9 Sevro. This collar is always attached and enables real-time tracking of the dog, while also recording past routes. This technology helps K9 handlers review their routes and assists in locating a lost K9 if it gets off-leash. Thanks, Wallingford Elks Lodge 1365!
