A big thank you from us to our local DNR guys for their help burning a prairie on our property. It was long overdue and we're excited to see it come back happier and healthier!

🔥 Prescribed burns help control invasive species, reduce fuel buildup, and promote an increase in biodiversity. They are a integral part of keeping the prairie ecosystem healthy!

For more information on prescribed burns, visit the DNR website: https://www.iowadnr.gov/programs-services/forestry-resources/fire-management-safety -fire-information

Our youth archery season ran from December through February this year. We had lots of fun shooting our bows each week and had a game night the last day of archery. One lucky archer was gifted a bow from a generous donor in Estherville, and we hope he continues to practice and use it into the future!
