Wallingford Senior Center The Wallingford Senior Center is operated by the Wallingford Committee on Aging, Inc. In 2001, the town constructed the beautiful 20,000 sq. ft.

and funded primarily by the Town of Wallingford to provides services and programs for the older adults of our community. For over forty years the Wallingford Senior Center has provided services for the older adults of Wallingford. Incorporated as a non-profit 501 (c) 3 in 1987, the Town of Wallingford provides a significant portion of the operational funding through an annual grant. facility and leases it to the Wallingford Committee on Aging, Inc.

Quinnipiac University students participated in The Big Event at the annual spring clean
up at the Wallingford Senior Center’s Agnes B Campos Bird and Butterfly Garden. The
Agnes B Campos Bird and Butterfly Garden was initiated by Roman Mrozinski, former
director of the Southwest Conservation and CT Master Gardeners
The garden was prepped by Roman Mrozinski with the cutting back of the
appropriate shrubs and ornamental grasses to be cleaned and deposited for Wallingford
Public Works pickup and disposal. WSC director Bill Viola coordinated the event with
Quinnipiac and supervisory support from Roman Mrozinski and Wallingford Garden
Club member Ellie Tessmer.
